Hemi

We choose the kennel name Black Shadow Cane Corso to serve as a reminder of where it all began for us. In 2005 I stumbled upon my first picture of a Cane Corso a dog magazine, and I was spellbound. I knew from that moment that a corso would be the next dog we would choose to share our lives with. We began searching in earnest in 2006, finally finding the kennel that had everything that we were looking for in both dogs and breeders. And so our story began…

Hemi is her name. Powerful, drivey, female! Her temperament is outstanding and extremely stable. She is fearless and stands her ground. She has true Corsi discernment knowing who you are and what you are about instinctively. Her expression is intense and her body well muscled and toned. She inherits her lovely movement from her outstanding sire Marneo. Strong yet graceful flowing and proud. Like her dam, Italia dei Dauni, Hemi is strong in character - confident and independent - yet devoted and loving.

Hemi is everything that we expected and more. She gives us the best of both worlds. She is our fierce guardian who will protect her family if needed with her life yet will make us laugh till we cry watching her hilarious antics as she plays like a goofy puppy with her dog friends. She welcomes who we welcome with a warm sweet friendliness that captures ones heart when they meet her. We are in love with this girl and are thrilled to have her as a part of our breeding program.

Hemi is the full sister of Ch. EaZy E de Italica Terrae, CGC owned by Iroc Cane Corso, Nirvana de Italica Terrae owned by Cane Corso de Impero Russo, and Italica Terrae Jagger owned by the famous Stanley Pat Kennels in Russia. Her lines come from the well know Dei Duani kennel in Italy. She also has many well know Champions in her pedigree like Conan, Paco, Ettore, Nestore and Nikita.
